I am an Associate Professor at the Virginia Tech Department of Philosophy, and a Core Faculty member at the David H. Kellogg Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.

My primary focus is on political, ethical, and methodological questions at the intersection of economics, policy, and business, especially as they relate to happiness, well-being, and fairness.

I am currently working on a book on procedural allocative fairness.

During the 2026-2027 academic year I am on research leave visiting the Law & Philosophy Group at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, which is part of the Barcelona Institute of Analytic Philosophy (BIAP).
